Activities

Here's what you can expect during our week together

  • Adventure  - Hiking and zip-lining in Atitlan Nature Reserve; boating, swimming, and jumping in Lake Atitlan at Tzankujil Reserve; exploring several towns around Lake Atitlan

  • Culture - Workshops from Mayan artisans of painting, leather, chocolate, ceramics, and textiles

  • Service Learning  and cultural exchange- Workshop on how to help without harming. 

  • Connect with local families and experience a day in their life including making tortillas, cultivating corn, and learn about traditional Mayan clothing and understand why it's so important in Mayan culture.

  • Morning & Evening routines - Daily gratitude journaling, meditation, movement, and group discussions
